Drawing the seeds of lived experience and memory, Pala takes characters, both known and new, to translate them into short stories, enriched with texture and colour. She communicates the beauty of simplicity and brings to life pictures that seem to emerge from deeply hidden corners of the mind. Pala Hoyos is a Colombian artist, graphic designer and illustrator. She loves to explore new techniques that enrich her work and often leaves the path of the ordinary by deliberately mixing paint and collage, drawing and illustration. Her works will take you on a visual journey through everyday moments and sensations, connecting us with the vision of her spirit.
